Flashcord Terms of Service
By using Flashcord and its related services such as the "Flashcord Store", "Configurator", and other derivatives services such as the "Flashcord API", you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not understand this document, you may not use Flashcord and its services. If the Terms of Service get updated and you no longer agree to its terms, you may no longer use Flashcord and its services as well. If you are also under the age of 13, you may not use Flashcord's services. Flashcord Terms of Service updates are announced within the "#announcement" channel on the Sirio Network's Discord Server as there are no other easy way to communicate with every Flashcord Users. The Sirio Network Discord Server is accessible at https://sirio-network.com/discord. Each ToS update is announced 1 week before the new ToS applies. As Flashcord is hosted and made in the Europe Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is applicable. The last update of the ToS was done on the 16th of July 2024, applied on the 16th of July 2024.

This section of the Terms of Service will explain in detail what we collect about you, and how we handle your information and what you are able to do with it.
HOW WE HANDLE YOUR DATA AND WHAT WE COLLECT
When a user connects to the Sirio Network servers to acquire Flashcord's CSS, requests are made to the "Flashcord Telemetry System" located at https://sirio-network.com/flashcord/telemetry in other to collect information, some information are also collected while using the Flashcord Store and the Flashcord Configurator, the following information is collected and saved to the Sirio Network servers:
The following data is purely used for telemetry reasons and is only used to have statistics about the userbase of Flashcord.
If the user did not previously use Flashcord or has wiped their data, we save the date when they first logged into their "account".
However, if they already previously used Flashcord, the last time they logged on will be saved.
The number of times a user makes requests to fetch Flashcord's FTS CSS is saved.
The CSS files Flashcord fetches from FTS are located at the following URLs:
The following data is used for improving the user's experience.
The branch and version of Flashcord used is saved.
The "modules" a user installed on the Flashcord Store are saved.
The configuration options selected in the Flashcord Configurator are saved.
Telemetry data is linked to your IP address; thus, your IP address is also saved along with the value if you authorize telemetry or not. Your data is only seen privately by Sirio Network Administrators and isn't sold to any third parties, nor is it used for advertising. It is only used to improve uniquely your experience with Flashcord and nothing else. You are allowed to provide entirely false information to protect your privacy.
HOW TO MANAGE YOUR DATA AND DELETE IT
You may disable the Flashcord Telemetry System (FTS) at https://sirio-network.com/flashcord/telemetry/settings and are able to wipe your data without any questions asked. Please note however that deleting your data is instantaneous and cannot be recovered easily, furthermore your data is still technically present within FTS's logs, you will need to contact the Sirio Network administrators to perform a full data wipe. You may view at any time what data we've collected about you at https://sirio-network.com/flashcord/telemetry/settings or by sending "http://flashcord/telemetry" in any message channel while Flashcord is active.
FLASHCORD AS A USER
This section of the Terms of Service will explain in detail what you agree to when using the Flashcord Theme itself. This section does not talk about what data we collect when you are using Flashcord.
GENERAL FLASHCORD WARNINGS AND INFORMATION
Flashcord is an extremely advanced theme which may cause severe performance issues on older hardware. By using Flashcord you agree that the performance of your device may be impacted. Damage caused by the increase in hardware utilization does not hold the Sirio Network liable for any issues caused by Flashcord. Flashcord is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord or Replugged. Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc. By using Flashcord you are agreeing that you are breaking Discord's Terms of Service (as their ToS states you shouldn't be using client modifications such as Replugged, which are required to use Flashcord). The Sirio Network is not held liable for any sanctions of your Discord account caused by the usage of Flashcord and client modifications. Flashcord automatically updates itself when you are using it with the links provided at "https://sirio-network.com/flashcord/[branch].css", the Replugged version of "Flashcord for Low-End-Systems" (alias Flashcord "LPM") however doesn't update automatically. Thus, by using Flashcord Builds provided by the Sirio Network you agree to any sudden updates without any warnings. If a particular update annoys you, you may fetch an older version of Flashcord at https://download.sirio-network.com/flashcord/archive. Support is available on the Sirio Network Discord Server; we reserve the right to help or not help anyone for any reason or none.
FLASHCORD'S UNSTABLE BRANCH WARNINGS
Flashcord SID (the Unstable Branch) is the release cycle of Flashcord in which code is released to the public first, this version may contain bugs that may hinder your experience. By using Flashcord SID, you agree to any potential issues arising. You also agree by using the Unstable Branch to any "experiments" which are micro-updates to Flashcord to test new features (an example of which are the "FTS PoC Server-Stress Tests" which injected new code to test how FTS would fair against the Flashcord Userbase). These micro-updates are always announced, and the change is also vaguely written within Flashcord's version.
MODIFYING FLASHCORD'S CODE
Modifying Flashcord's code is strictly forbidden for any commercial use, it is also disallowed to modify Flashcord without any prior authorization. You may however access Flashcord's code at https://github.com/siriusbyt/flashcord and are allowed to make modifications to Flashcord that does not require the modification of Flashcord's code itself, you may inject code into Flashcord to modify it under the name of a "module".
THE FLASHCORD STORE
This section of the Terms of Service will explain in detail what you agree to when using the Flashcord Store.
GENERAL USAGE WARNINGS
By using the Flashcord Store you agree to the data collection of your actions specified earlier in this document. The Flashcord Store hosts non-approved Replugged Plugins. While we have moderation, malicious code may still appear, it is entirely at your own risk to install any plugins hosted on the Flashcord Store. As for the approved plugins coming from Replugged, the Sirio Network is not held liable for any troubles or issues caused by these plugins as we have no real control over them. Please read Replugged's Terms of Service for further information available at https://replugged.dev/legal/tos.
PUBLISHING ADDONS
We reserve the right to refuse any submission for any reason or none for the Flashcord Store. Publishing addons can be requested within the Sirio Network’s Discord Server. You must own the copyright for the images or content you are publishing to the Flashcord Store. Your addon will still be fully within your rights, we are only hosting it and providing version control when possible.
MANAGING MY ADDONS AS A DEVELOPER
Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions regarding your addon or if you want to take your addon off the Flashcord Store. This applies to Flashcord developers as well as the developers who are making approved Replugged addons.
THE FLASHCORD CONFIGURATOR
This section of the Terms of Service will explain in detail what you agree to when using the Flashcord Configurator.
GENERAL USAGE WARNINGS
By using the Flashcord Configurator you agree to the data collection of your actions specified earlier in this document. The Flashcord Configurator is designed for the Unstable Branch of Flashcord. Support for Flashcord's Stable and for Low-End-Systems is limited and certain configuration options may not be available.
